Pastor Yuan, Zhiming was answering a question: what do we know if we are filled with the Holy Spirit? Some people may cite we will speak prophecy or have some special movements, or a gust of wind blowing through etc. He answered: If you have the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Love: And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:5.

Joy: My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song. Psalm 28:7.

Peace: May the Lord show favor toward you, and give you peace. Numbers 6:26.

Patience: Meanwhile, the saints stand passionately patient, keeping God’s commands, staying faithful to Jesus. Revelation 14:12.

Kindness: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22.

Goodness: Surely goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:6.

Faithfulness: Great is your faithfulness. Lamentation 3:23b.

Gentleness: Pursue a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. 1 Timothy 6:11b.

Self-control: A person without self-control is like a house with its doors and windows knocked out. Proverbs 25:26.

Pastor Mark Gregory sermons on Daniel 1 and 2. Daniel lived a holy life even when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way. No one rejects great food and drink. It pleases our stomach and eye. Yet Daniel and his friends ate nothing but vegetables drink nothing but water. In an exile era, how can we keep our body and mind like Daniel?

Daniel could repeat and interpret Nebuchadnezzar’s dreams, in addition to Babylon, there were 3 more great nations: Persian, Greece and Roman, then it was broken into many small nations. No one on earth can do this, only through the revelation of God. Even under the rule of great kings, God is still the King of all Kings.
