Today the radio talks about inflammation. Acute inflammation is a self-defense mechanism, it helps to fight bacteria and viral infection. But chronic inflammation is not good. It can cause many diseases, like heart disease, diabetes, strokes etc. An environment that supports chronic inflammation is rich of fat and sugar. “You are what you eat.” Junk food tastes good and make you happy, but in the long run, it will damage your health.

But my question is how do we know we already have chronic inflammation? I didn’t finish listening to that piece and hope to find out.
