M86 and neighbouring Markarian chain galaxies. @Quant_Analyst
The death of a star is one of the most intricately beautiful things in existence. The “Dumbbell Nebula” died by shedding it’s outer layers before collapsing into a white dwarf, like our sun will eventually. Less violent than a supernova. @AJamesMcCarthy
